Summer Internships

We offer summer internships, both for undergraduate college students and law school students (2nd to 3rd year). Internship opportunities are available in both the Norfolk and New York office locations. No previous legal experience is required. We are looking for people with strong academics and an interest in litigation. Interns will get exposure to trials and the trial process. Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter. Law clerk applications should also include a law school transcript and writing sample.

Internship applications for Summer 2027 should be submitted between September 1st, 2026, and December 31st, 2026. Interviews will be held in January 2027, with final decisions announced on March 12th, 2027.

Due to an exceptionally high volume of Summer 2027 internship applications from undergraduate students, we are unable to accept further submissions. The application window remains open for law school students.

  • “This was my first opportunity to see high-powered attorneys at work as they prepared day and night for a court hearing. Their attention to detail and focus on every single word emphasized their respect for the law and the responsibility that comes with representing a client.”

    Jonathan Fu, Summer Intern

  • "Being an intern at BKB has given me the opportunity to take part in all stages of the litigation process from discovery, depositions, and even trials! It has been inspiring to see the work of different attorneys and has helped me discover what I want to do in the future."

    Martha, Summer Intern

  • “As a law student, it was really insightful both to support the attorneys in their preparations for court appearances and to watch the discovery process unfold from start to finish. I look forward to exploring the field of complex litigation further.”

    Matteo, Summer Intern
